First of all, the pack replaces the usual sounds of your and villagers actions. That is, when you chop a tree, dig a hole or jump on the water, you will hear new, not ordinary sounds.
They are recorded by the voice of one of the T.E.A.V.S.R.P. creators and represent the voice acting. This also applies to Minecraft Bedrock villagers who have a lot in common with the player.
