The idea of this addon has already been implemented in other mods, but unlike them it is the first compression addon created in the .mcpack format. This became possible due to the important scripting update which received the number 1.12.0.2.

Returning to the topic, the Compressed Blocks addon was created for those situations when your chests are 100% full and you do not know where you can put the rest of the pile of blocks and objects. Having tons of trash or just very common blocks such as sand, you can use the compression feature. This can be seen in Minecraft Java where the player can turn 9 blocks into one compressed.
There is one simple recipe: open the crafting interface and put blocks (that need to be compressed) into each cell of the crafting grid. There should be a total of 9 blocks completely filling the grid.
All blocks will turn into one having a dark frame. If you want to get the blocks back by doing uncompressing, then put the compressed block in the cell and take the usual blocks.
