If we are talking about the usual ax in Minecraft PE, then using it you can only get resources or cause a small damage to creatures coming very close. Do you like an ax that you can throw into your opponents and reuse?Tomahawk is a powerful weapon, the destroyer of the heads - it is capable of instantly hitting the target at a great distance.
Definitely you will need training as correct and accurate throwing tomahawk. If you missed, then just pick up the tomahawk, so it can be used for hunting or battles. Standard axes also look like new ones and are necessary for crafting tomahawks. Recipes are very simple: each requires 8 feathers and the type of ax from which you want to get a tomahawk.
Diamond tomahawk is the most serious weapon and takes 10 hearts of health. For hunting it will take about 3 pieces, not more. In addition, Minecraft Bedrock (PE) will receive a new throwing weapon is the trident in the Update Aquatic.
