I think, the water world in MCPE is quite boring and monotonous. But everything will change if you install Jaws and Megalodon addon which adds 2 new types of fish. There are shark and megalodon which differ from each other not only in appearance but also characteristics. Regular shark is quite aggressive and will attack you as soon as you swim to it very close. Megalodon is more friendly but looks like a whale, and it may seem very dangerous (really a very strong).
New mobs will spawn near the ocean monuments, so you will not find them in ordinary rivers. If you play in creative, then build a swimming pool with glass walls and spawn sharks there. It will look very cool, especially in modern homes.
