Version 1.18 marked the transition to a new era with technologies of the future, one of which was the halographic map made in the format of an add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. So if you would also like to see the world map in 3D, then try it. Development is still ongoing and many things are in the plans. There are some caveats discussed below.

Yes and no: there are no small rays projecting a 3D object onto a plane at first. Secondly, the hologram is displayed without distortion and other effects that are often used in movies. Thirdly, you get only a chunk or a certain area of the map, depending on the code.
In the first beta, there are about 70 block types added, which means the holograms are limited. However, the next release will provide more features by unlocking more detailed and massive holograms in MCPE.
So, the current update contains the following codes: ..a (1-3), ..b (1-3), ..c (1-3). Use any of these to project a hologram. Just open the chat and type any.
