Forget Blocklauncher add-ons, now players can independently create, customize and distribute their own addons, regardless of third-party apps.
Let's try to explain an example of one of the add-ons (there are two installation options). After completing these steps, you will learn how to install add-ons in half a minute or faster.
A. Now (MCPE 0.16.0 and next ones) there are two new sections in the com.mojang folder. One section is used to install resource packs, and another section for behavior packs.
B. Download any add-on, e.g. Dynamic Lights PE currently one of the hot.
Usually, addon makers pack their creations in the traditional .mcpack format, but if you got a .rar/.zip file, then follow these simple steps.
1. Move the Behavior folder here: /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/.
2. And the second Resources folder here: /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/, respectively.
3. Now you just have to start the game and open the game settings (or the world sett if you do not want to apply the addon to other worlds).
4. In the game settings go to global resources and activate the addon (both behavior and resources).
5. Addon is installed, start playing!
This is a new format for defining Minecraft Bedrock Edition add-ons. It has a much easier installation process, you just have to open it through the game. That's it, the installation is complete and you can go to the game settings to activate it. (Step 3 and 4)
