Your soul is in your character's body all the time you breathe. But as soon as you die, your soul leaves the body and goes to heaven to another world beyond. Unfortunately, the addon does not add other dimensions in which one could see the souls of dead players.
Anyway, this is a good helper if you play with other players and want to know if anyone died.
